Meet The Principal
Mercy School For Special Learning has a long and dynamic history — spanning 70 years — that has provided a faith-based school environment for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities; and centered on the teachings of Jesus. I have the privilege to serve Mercy as its principal. Every day, I witness the dedication and patience of our faculty and staff, and the excitement of our students.
I am grateful for the support we receive from our donors and friends.
As a lifelong educator, I have helped students to excel for more than 30 years. I worked in the Diocese of Allentown, served as the Director of the Aquinas program at Notre Dame High School in Easton, and also taught in the Wilson School District. I hold Bachelor of Science degrees in both special education and elementary education from Kutztown University and a Master's of Education from DeSales University. My husband and I are members of St. Thomas More Parish. We have been married for 31 years and are the proud parents of two educators, Gabrielle and Meghan.
Our students love their school and being a part of this special community. They learn many new skills and worked hard towards reaching their goals. Our teachers developed strong lessons to help our children grow in their skills. As Mercy continues to grow and be a place where God’s most precious children are surrounded with His love and care, we look forward to another successful year and to being back together again!
