Becoming Part of the Mercy Family
Mercy School For Special Learning is a Catholic School in the Diocese of Allentown for students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our school welcomes all students regardless of race, creed, or religion.
If you are the parent of a child who has been diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability, we encourage you to contact us to schedule a visit, tour our school, and discuss the possibility of becoming part of our family. Mercy has many wonderful things to offer, a wonderful, experienced staff, programming to meet the needs of your child, therapy services, and much more. Come and schedule a tour and meet the heart of Mercy, our amazing students.
Admission to Mercy School For Special Learning is determined after review of the following:

Recent Reevaluations,

Individual Education Plans
-
If applicable, additional information provided by the sending school or private evaluations
Final determination of admission if made by the principal.
Financial Aid
If you would like to consider Mercy for your child’s education, please do not allow finances to stand in your way. All families must complete the Simple Tuition Solutions application. Financial aide is offered to all qualifying families. We will work together to make attending Mercy a reality for your family.
Transportation
Transportation is provided to Mercy School For Special Learning if you live within 10 miles of that district’s outer most boundary (PA Act 372). If your local school district is beyond the 10 miles range, contact your local district directly to see if transportation is possible. Many districts outside the boundary are willing to transport to Mercy.
